This bike really is more than meets then eye. You’re looking at a 1991 BMW K100rs. This model year packed a 1000cc 16v 4cyl making 100hp. To sweeten it up this bike was equipped with a Luftmeister “Competition” Turbo kit. The boys at Luftmeister contracted out the best in the business (RB Racing) to design and develop this kit to have tons of usable power and be reliable enough for regular use. I’ll answer any questions about this kit but I recommend popping over to the RB racing website and reading up on their development. It highlights the key features of this kit as well as the other variations of it, and dishes out some fun banter at the same time. This bike is making approx 9psi on the original IHI turbo. It was rebuilt last year (still operated fine but had sat for a long time) so I figured it was a safe idea. This bike is in great shape with a few minor aesthetic flaws and is mechanically sounds and works as it should with exception of the Abs system. The bike will come with a full set of cargo bags and an extra set of rear hard bags from another K100rs I had and 2 Brand new never mounted tires that are not pictured. The bike has its original service records as well as a hand written log of all the work done to it since I purchased it.
