My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that... I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1996 Honda Accord LX sedan with just 155k original miles. I would rate the exterior of this Accord LX to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking sedan. She is finished in tan metallic over matching tan interior and shows very well for an older vehicle. The finish shines nicely and looks smooth all around. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this specific Accord, there is a small faded spot on the hood as well as a few visible scrape marks on the bumper covers...nothing bad for a car of this age. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the trim and moldings are present and show well. all of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory steel wheels and plastic wheel covers have been upgraded with a nice looking set of alloy wheels that are wrapped in a nice set of Continental tires with good tread all around. Pride in ownership shows throughout this Honda. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this Accord came in. I would also rate the interior of this Accord to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The carpets are thick and full looking throughout the interior. The seats are clean, comfortable and show virtually no wear. The power windows, locks and mirrors all work properly. The audio system appears to also be working properly and sounds good through the factory speakers. The heater works properly and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. In the back, there is plenty of room for passengers to ride in comfort. The trunk is spacious and clean. Again, pride in ownership shows throughout this Accord. Please take your time and check out each of the photos to see how clean this Accord came in. Mechanically, this Accord appears to be in good running and driving condition. The four cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older vehicle. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. If I'm being picky, I believe one of the front hubs is starting to make a little noise. You have to be listening for it...but you can hear it. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. If you're looking for a gas sipping car that is inexpensive and reliable, this Accord is about the best value I've had in quite some time. These cars run forever. Normally, they rust out before the engine or transmission quits. I did not see a spec of rust on this Accord...and it only has 155k miles. It is very likely that you could put another 100k miles on this car with zero major mechanical issues. How many cars in this price range can say that? Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
