i am selling this truck for my girlfriend. She looked far and wide for a really nice, low mileage 4x4 Ranger with no rust and no accidents, that was well maintained. Finally found this one about two months ago. Actually bought it from the children of a gentleman who had recently passed away. They told us how he loved the truck, kept it inside and always maintained it. Then a few weeks ago she let her son borrow it. He was going around a long exit ramp, ran over something, and the tire deflated and pushed him into the guard rail. Causing the damage to the left front corner as you see in the photos. More about that later.This truck is a 1998 ranger XL extra cab. 4x4. Green with tan interior. Automatic. Cold AC. Stepside bed. Chrome rims. Bed liner. Three fold bed cover in hard vinyl. Bucket seats. AM/FM/CD. Power windows/locks. Really loaded truck. Other than the damage, this truck is in excellent condition. Always well maintained. Everything works. The interior is in excellent condition. We just put brand new cruise control switches in as the originals were getting a little worn/cracked and my gf wanted them to look new. Tires have about 75% tread on them. Rims have no pitting on the chrome. She is missing two of the center caps which we were looking for before the accident. AC, heat, radio everything works great. Engine runs strong. Transmission shifts great. The interior is like new. No marks or rips or tears or cracks. The dash is perfect. The seats look like they have hardly been used. The stepside bed has no rust. The underside has no rust. The rear bumper is a little bent. Looks like the gentleman backed into something. But it is still strongly connected and perfectly usable as is. It is an excellent condition, excellent running truck. With low miles. Now for the damage. As you can see, the front corner is pushed in. It’s the front bumper. Left front fender. Left radiator support. Left front grill work. Left front tire(not sure if the rim is ok). Some parts of the left front suspension. I think the radiator needs replaced. The hood is not damaged. Seems to open and close fine. Nothing was pushed back into the engine bay. Engine is fine. As I am a backyard mechanic I encourage you to inspect the truck yourself to see if it needs anything else. But as far as I can see that is the majority of it. She asked me to list it with no reserve to see if she can get a decent price for it. She is open to offers. She knows what the truck was worth before the damage. And if she can recoup some of her money, she will move on. If not, she will probably make me fix it. She never reported the accident because she does not have collision on the truck. The title and carfax are clean and clear. THIS TRUCK IS SOLD AS IS. There are no refunds or returns. You are buying it with the damage. I will not have the truck fixed. I have no way to transport the truck. It will winch up onto a rollback or trailer. That is how we brought it home. This is a no reserve auction. Starting at one dollar. Bid to win.
