Up for auction I have a 2000 Toyota MR Spyder. I have been the owner of this car for 6 years now. Originally I purchased this car at 106,000 miles and have since had the engine replaced at 156,300 miles because of bad rings. The new engine is the stock 1ZZFE replaced by a company called “AAA Engines” about 3 years ago. At that time I also ordered the 6 speed NON-LSD Transmission (not released in the US) from “Monkey wrench racing”. I have all of the receipts as well as the dates to their purchases, along with a clean title. This car drives nicely and doesn’t leak a drop of anything. The wife and I had been taking it for weekend cruises through the mountains, but we recently purchased a 500hp S2000 and haven’t driven this since, so it’s time to sell. It passed emissions 2 months ago and is current on registration. I have only one key for the car, it is a chipped key. The car has been well taken care of- Specs as follows; I have posted a High Quality walk through of the car on youtube here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mtkrx8rvKvs · Replaced engine 27,000 miles ago 1ZZFE ($1,590.00 –Have receipt 08-2015) · 6 speed transmission has 27,000 miles ($1,747.51—Have receipt 08-2015) · Catalytic converter replaced 27,000 miles ago ($650.00 –Cal standard, No recipt) · Dual catback 3” muffler (Growls, sounds nice) ($194.00 –Have receipt 5-2018) · New OEM soft top with heated rear glass ($599.00 -Have receipt 7-2017) · 225/40/18 rear tires, front+ rear tires fairly new · Shock towers replaced last year w/upper & lower ball joints · Custom made steel luggage rack/shifter/soft top pull/valve cover · Android Deck (V2.20.21) With SD/Radio/Wifi/Ipod/Aux/Bluetooth/GPS/DVD (rear cam option) ect. · 2-BOSS 1200W subs with Capacitors, 8-PLYE Mid/tweeters in cab making 10 speakers total (5 per seat) · USB charging on center console-2 ports · Cold AC (just replaced AC condenser and charged system · Custom made Dash designs seat covers from JC whitney ($126.83-Have recipt 2018) The original seats are in decent condition besides a small 3” tear on the drivers · 30-38MPG w/ 6 speed trans · Labels all scrubbed · Royal purple oil changes every 3,000 miles ISSUES: Ever since replacing the engine in 2015 a check engine light will pop up sometimes when the car is started cold always for “random multiple misfire P0300”. I have tried replacing the ignition coils with the OEM Denso coils (2017) with no luck. I haven’t looked any further into it since it hasn’t been a big problem. The Power steering doesn’t seem to work very well if at all, but it’s a 2,600lb car so it hasn’t really been a bother to me. I have researched that the electronic power steering motor goes out sometimes and the entire assembly costs about 400$ or some have rebuilt the motor for cheaper. There are a few minor dents and the rear passenger tail light is cracked I would be happy to email receipts for the engine components listed in PM My “down the road plan” was to swap to a turbo charged 2ZZFE which makes much more horse power than the 1ZZ, but I have 3 toy cars and a truck and need to get rid of one.
