OVERALL DETAILS ADDITIONAL PHOTOS AND VIDEO OF ENGINE RUNNING HERE: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/xshdd19awujm6dl/AACznwlbrkB1wcSD_xYC5noxa?dl=0I’ll start by saying if you’re into these Seville’s as I am, this really is the one to get especially in this price range. Very low mileage Seville’s run into some high numbers as you likely know. Given the higher mileage of my car (explained below) and the excellent (near flawless) mechanical condition you’re not going to get a better bang for your buck. I would drive this car cross-country in the freezing cold of winter or insane heat of summer without hesitation. I bought this car in the fall of 2016. At that time, it had 89,000 miles on it. It spent most of its early years in Arizona with an elderly couple whose children brought it to Michigan. It was used sparingly as a 2nd car for that family until I bought it. I drive about 1000-1200 miles PER WEEK as I commute from Detroit to Lansing for work – which is why I bought this car. That’s 200 miles per day, 5x per week. The mileage is higher now but these are all highway miles, and that makes a big difference regarding wear and tear. Details about its mechanical and cosmetic condition are listed below. This car has had a LOT of work done to it, most of it preventative as I knew I would be driving so much. As with any car that is 20+ years old there are going to be quirks and flaws, and this car is no exception, however I have eliminated 95% of those issues / quirks for sure. This car drives straight, smooth, is pretty fast for the day (275 HP) and is dead reliable. It has NEVER failed to start even on the coldest Michigan mornings (-8 anyone?) COOL FEATURES / EXTRAS · I wanted this car to operate as a modern car does, so there is an aftermarket touch-screen, double-din stereo with Apple Play, XM Radio, Bluetooth, and USB / Aux Connections (see photos) for ease of use. You can make calls hands-free as well of course. The installation looks factory and the unit works perfectly. · There is a Viper / Directed SmartStart system installed. This allows for keyless entry of course, and trunk-popping etc – as well as the ability to start, stop, lock, unlock, and pop the trunk from an app on your iPhone or Android device, which is fantastic in the winter. I used it every day to warm up the car!! EVERYTHING WORKS! - All A/C HVAC, Power Equipment (Windows, seats, defrosters, etc..) · The active / electronic suspension has been replaced with PASSIVE struts and rear shocks / coil springs, as these systems can be very troublesome to replace / repair and very expensive. The car rides great, and parts are easy / cheap to get when the time is right. This is a kit that I purchased from a company called StrutMasters. ITEMS REPAIRED / REPLACED OVER LAST 18 MONTHS · All front end components! (tie rods / ends, upper lower ball joints, sway bar links both left and right · Serpentine and Accessory Belts· Upper and Lower Radiator Hoses and Coolant Flush / Fill· Alignment· Axle Assemblies (left and right)· Brake Pads and Rotors – 4 Corners· Michelin Tires (have about 80% tread life left – they only see highway travel)· Spark Plugs and Wires· HVAC Blower Assembly· Rear Mufflers / Exhaust Tips· A/C Compressor / Re-Charge (works great, as it should)· Battery· Soft brake lines (flexible lines) on all 4 corners· Throttle Position Sensor· Headlight Bulbs (high / low beam)· Stereo (as described)· Viper Directed SmartStart System – 2 Key Fobs· Wiper Blades· Shifting Solenoid (3-4 gear)· Windshield (non insta-clear as they are not available anymore)· Alternator· Regular Oil Changes OVERALL MECHANICAL CONDITION of this Cadillac is very good, and I only say that vs. excellent because of the fact that it leaks oil from the rear main seal and valve covers, which I never thought was worth fixing. Northstar’s apparently do this. It’s easier just to add oil here and there. I generally add about 1 quart every 1000 miles or so, I just keep an eye on it. OVERALL COSMETIC CONDITION of this Cadillac is excellent. There is no rust to speak of other than some surface rust on some suspension components. The rear seat up by the package shelf has some seam separations from the Arizona sun. No other rips / tears / other cosmetic issues are present in the cabin. There is a small ding in the driver front fender, and the right rear corner chrome trim was attached shoddily by the prior owner, I never bothered fixing it. I just had the car professionally detailed as you can see (it’s very clean!), it’s waiting patiently in my garage for its next caretaker. QUIRKS · The trunk pull-down stopped working a while back, so I just adjusted it so it would work like a normal trunk. The trunk-popper still works just fine via remote or the button in the glove box. · When you start the car, a “SERVICE RIDE CONTROL” message comes on the screen. You can press the “Information” button on the dash and it goes away, or it just goes away on its own. This is because there is no longer electronic suspension hooked to the car, and the computer is looking for it. There is nothing actually wrong here. I don’t know of a way to have the message disappear.
