Well it's time to part with my E39. I've only had it a few months but it's by far the cleanest Bimmer I have ever owned. Really a 10/10 interior, the body is a solid 9 - no rust, no major dents or dings. 198K. Style 81s are a great fit for this wagon and the Pilot AS/4s all around are in good shape with plenty of tread left. Since i bought it in February i have replaced the Oil Filter Stand, the water pump, some hoses and bought a navigation DVD. I replaced the old school car phone armrest with one without it, but it still has the ashtray and what looks like a hookup for a radio of some sortAll the doors and windows work! All the idiot lights in the dash are off! Except the BMW ASSIST INACTIVE, because i ripped out the cell phone.Update: the car needs a transmission. price dropped.. it was in need of a pump seal but it's evident the trans is completely toast behind it. This is simply too expensive for me to handle, so i need to sell her and try to get into another high mileage pain in the ass eurowagon. Maybe an E500, maybe an E46, maybe an audi? Must be painful.
