Vehicle Detail
Hello - I am selling my 03 Subaru Outback (and my 06 Chevy Impala - another listing), I have 7 cars (too many). I am the second owner. We bought this from a friend so we knew it was a good car. The original owner always had it serviced by Subaru. She use to joke that every time she picked it up from the dealer the bill was always $1200. We have had the car for 3 years. Since we owned it, we installed a new AC condenser (AC works good). This year we put on new front tires and a new exhaust system including a new catalytic converter and the header Y pipe. We also installed new Denso OEM 02 Sensor (these were expensive). Last year we also installed new front brake pads and rotors and changed the trans oil and filter. The car has mostly highway miles. The car runs and drives good. It drives straight and there is no shimmy in the steering wheel. The paint is good and the interior looks good. The only issue is that there is a small dent on the front passenger side fender. I was going to fix this for $300 but, it really doesn't look that bad. Also there is a little rust spot on the inside of the passenger side (see photo), its not that bad and could be fixed with a little paint. You can see it when the door is closed. Actually I just noticed it when I was waxing the car. If I had a large garage I would keep this car but I am running out of room in my driveway and my wife keeps saying no more cars. I also have 3 oil filters. I am starting the bid for $1000 or best offer. I am in Suffern NY ( about a 1/2 hr. from the Tappan-zee or George Washington Bridge). You can call me at work if you have any questions, 914.390.8229.
