Brief History: I bought the motorcycle back in 2009. At that time it had been stored since the early nineties. I was told that it needed an ignition control module for a no spark issue. After troubleshooting I discovered that a ignition spark component was not grounded properly. I corrected this and that fixed the no spark issue.After extensive work and maintenance, I was able to start the engine. After more diagnosis, I determined that the compression was effected by valves not seating properly. I pulled the head. After removing carbon deposits from the valve seats, I re-lapped the valves and seats. I then reassembled the head with a brand new gasket set and valve seals and checked the valve clearances. The valves needed adjustment.Because of health issues I was no longer able to continue work on the motorcycle. All original, Low miles, (15,507), Electrical system checks good with a 12 volt power source, Chrome is in overall good condition, 2 manuals, Extra gaskets and seals, Valve adjustment tools, Extra hardware, (see photos). Valves need adjustment before starting engine. Front tire needs replacing, rear tire is not sealing on rim. Battery that was replaced in 2008 no longer functions, Paint on top of tank is wore and there is a dent in the tank, (see photo) and also minor dents in the right side of the tank, Small cracks in seat, (see photo), Tachometer functions but probably needs replacing, Small oil leak from motor.For local pickup only My Zip is 95966.
