Here is a rare opportunity! A 100% original and unmodified 2004 Mazdaspeed Miata. Destined to be a collector's item - insofar as it isn't already - the Mazdaspeed Miata was arguably the most exciting of the 2nd generation Miatas made. This is history's only turbocharged Miata, and Mazda's evolution of the Miata chassis brought the Mazdaspeed to the zenith of handling of any of the first / second generation Miatas. This example is absolutely mint and 100% unmodified. As the photos show, we've kept it garaged on a lift in our home's clean, dry garage and have only used it as a Sunday / date night car since buying it in 2012. Since then we've put fewer than 4,000 miles on it but still changed out the transmission / differential fluid and gave it regular oil changes. We've recently bought a boat and are spending enough time in Florida that we aren't using this special car as much as it deserves, so we are reluctantly offering it for sale. The car was originally sold in Texas where it had two owners. We purchased it in April of 2012 from its third owner, a Miata enthusiast who shipped it to his Virginia home on the speculation that Mazdaspeed Miatas were rare enough here that he could flip it. He was right - we snapped it right up! Note: the Carfax record shows it titled by us in 2013, but that was the date we amended a typo on the title. We originally titled when we bought it. The only flaws we can point to is slight wear to the driver side seat bolster (shown in the photos) where a prior owner seemed to grab when entering and departing the car, and a small crease in the trailing edge of the driver's door where a prior owner must have opened the door into something (also shown in a photo but it's very hard to see). The top is in great shape. The Carfax is 100% clean. If desired, a Montego Blue hard top can be included in the sale for an additional sum. We bought the hard top but never fitted it to the car, so it's been in our basement for four years.
