This auction is for a 1989 Honda Pilot FL400R. Pilot has been sitting in a garage without being started for about 4 years. Pilot was parked in good running condition. Being sold AS IS with no returns since I am selling for an estate of a friend who passed away. I do not know much about it other than the obvious things. I do NOT have a title. Bill of sale provided. The fenders have cracks, scratches and are broken as seen in the pictures. There are aftermarket parts installed as seen in the pictures.Rear tires do not hold air for more than 24 hours.Front tires seem to hold air.Steering column has play. I have cleaned the Pilot up and emptied out old gasoline from the tank and carb. Pilot starts right up and idles great however, sputters at higher RPMs. Pilot has many great parts and can be used as a parts Pilot or can be made to run with the right mechanic.Seat is in good condition. On Aug-14-18 at 06:50:58 PDT, seller added the following information: When moving this Pilot around my garage, I do start it with the electric starterYes, Forward and Reverse both work on the Pilot, so it does drive okay in both directions, it does not go across a field at medium to high speeds though because it spits and sputters. I did not drive it enough to confirm how well the brakes work. There is no parking brake mechanism, but there are front and rear brakes. Pilot is located in Zip code 15347 (near Pittsburgh PA).
