2013 BMW ActiveHybrid 5. 2nd Owner. Originally a California car. The car was given a Lemon Title by the state of California after BMW bought the car back from the original owner after he experienced the check engine light coming on multiple times. Several attempts to repair the faulty light did not work so ultimately they placed a new fuel pump which they linked to the check engine light coming on. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the engine or the car itself, only a faulty check engine light. During my ownership of ~2.5 years the light has come on 4-5 times and will turn off after a complete drive cycle which BMW states is 200-300 miles. I have had Global Imports BMW, United BMW and an Independent European auto shop in Atlanta check the car and they all confirm that there is nothing wrong with the engine or car itself.
