Bought this bike with a number of others....This is the story told to me.....bike supposedly hit a deer at low speed damaging the original fairing, clocks and ignition barrel and was repaired at a bike shop in upstate New York. They claimed that a second hand clock was put on a Fairing was suppose to have been replaced at same time. Some time later Bike fairing was damaged again in a bar car park, they tell me it hasn't been ridden since.There is a New York Inspection sticker on the front fork which shows 5224 miles, which would correspond with what the previous owner say but I cannot confirm.There is a Ding in the right side of the gas tank . There is no ignition barrel so therefore no key.The bike would be awesome when serviced this would make a great restoration project you have everything there no searching for missing parts, and will come with a title and a written bill of sale.Bike desperately needs TLC that I have no time for ! The 'Gixxer's development had been heavily influenced by lessons learned from the works TT F1 and Endurance racers of the late 1970s and early 1980s; lighter than a 600 and as powerful as a 1000, it made all other super-sports 750s seem flabby and slow. One of the modern era's few instant classics and the sole surviving Japanese 750cc sports bike, the GSX-R750 has been a huge commercial success for Suzuki and enjoys cult status today. The GSX-R750 was, and is, a superb machine and an excellent example of Japanese motorcycle engineering at its most refined.
