For sale is my authentic Saleen S-281 SC #01-041. I bought the car from it's original owner, a Saleen employee in California 3 years ago. The car was originally used as a show car for Saleen Automotive and toured the country showing the off the new 2001 Saleen and it's features. Later in the early 2000's a Saleen employee bought it from the company to have as his personal car. In 2008 the employee was transferred to the Troy plant here Michigan. There the are car was completely restored and brought to like new condition, it had 75,000 miles at that time. It got the full treatment, new suspension, paint, interior, and most importantly the engine was completely gone through and rebuilt to S281E (Extreme) specs. (so basically you are buying a car with 20,000 miles on it even though the odometer says 95k) Forged internals, comp cams, bigger injectors, and a Whipple Supercharger all help this car put 550HP down, on 15 pounds of boost. 01-041 is also the only supercharged speedster produced with a black top, black interior and chrome wheels making it 1 of 1 ( see the letter of authenticity from Saleen) *Side note* If you are going to get financing for this car you will need to show them NADA as they wont know what it is and will say it is worth what a standard GT is.
