This factory black Suburban is personally owned by me and was used as my HD tow vehicle for my car trailer when I was going to a mountainous area. It has plenty of brute force and power to spare. **NOTE** It never towed anything until I bought it for me personally. I towed a full-size Chevy Tahoe on a steel car trailer without any difficulty what so ever. This HD Suburban 8.1 liter didn't even break a sweat. The Suburban is the "Tow vehicle of choice" for serious trailering. It is number one tow vehicle for campers, car transporters, boaters, car collectors and RV'ers. Whether you're towing a horse trailer, farm machinery, heavy equipment, a car trailer with a 57 Chevy, a 26 foot cigarette boat with twin out-drives on a triple axle trailer, or a Bobcat on a skid steer trailer... this HD 2500 Suburban with a 8.1 L V-8 can't be beat. It can seat up to 7 adults too. This is almost a 3500 series Suburban in that it does not have a normal "C" clip 2500 Suburban GM corporate 8 lug rear end. This HD Suburban is equipped with the full floating Dana rear axle like you would find in a medium duty truck. Such as a Mason dump or dual wheel cube van. The black paint shines beautifully. There is just one small minor dent in the right rear quarter panel and the left rear window is not working. The A/C is ice cold and has 3 zones (front & rear heat & A/C units) for your comfort. The brakes, front end and suspension are tight and it really needs no work to go on its next trip. All four tires and spare are good to go. I have just performed a "Mobil 1" full synthetic oil change with a GM filter. The 4 wheel drive works perfectly as does the cruise control and stereo system. The carpeting was replaced a little over a year ago. The seats have no rips or tears in them anywhere. The driver seat has full power. This was a postal inspectors vehicle and was never on police patrol. It carried X-ray equipment in the back and traveled to various post offices from Washington DC area to South Carolina where they scanned packages for contraband. The body is RUST FREE and in very, very good shape. The black paint shines beautifully. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this thing across the country tomorrow. NOTE: It was used for one year a the the postal maintenance garage to plow their two acre parking lot before they sold it to me. The plow mounts are in perfect condition and the front control wires are intact if you want to add a snowplow. Come take this for a long test drive and bring your mechanic buddy too.
