Welcome, up for auction is 1987 BMW 535is E28. This is an awesome example of 1980's German Engineering. This car has been well taken care of it's entire life and it shows. The BMW is an automatic, runs great and is fun to drive. You don't always have to have a stick/5 speed to enjoy driving BMW's. All 3 transmission switches work. All interior switches work properly with the A/C cooling very nicely. The radio/disc player is a Blaupunkt. The dash is crack free as it has been protected by a dash cover. The interior is in great condition with only a little were to the drivers seat. The moon roof opens both ways and works great. The car has 293400 miles on it which for a 1980's BMW is just breaking in the car. The engine was rebuilt at 288,745 and can be your daily driver for another 300,000 miles with no problem. I have the car fax that shows there are no accidents on this vehicle. I am the fourth owner and have enjoyed this car tremendously. I hate to sell it but have too many projects that need attention. Originally a California car I brought over from Sacramento. The paint is in great condition and holds the red color beautifully. There is no rust on the vehicle. This is a 30 year old BMW so keep in my that it is not perfect but damn near close. I will list all of the work that has been completed by me and the previous owner. Replaced catalytic converter, 02 sensor, muffler, water pump, thermostat, A/C compressor, evaporator and expansion valve, receiver dryer, replaced front rotors and pads, brake sensor, front suspension control arms, sway bar support, upper and lower bypass lines, transmission cooler lines, heater valve, rear transmission control valve, replaced both fuel pumps, replaced gas tank level sending unit, gas tank has been re-galvanized, new battery, new fuel filter, replaced air filter, new spark plugs, oil and oil filter, 6 new fuel injectors, replaced mass air boot, replaced crank positioning sensor, replaced mototronics computer in clove box, engine rebuilt at 288,745 miles, rebuilt head, rebuilt block, new K&S piston and rings, Shrick 272 camshaft, replaced 2 hood pressurized springs, rebuilt brake booster, rebuilt master cylinder, rebuilt calipers, rebuilt speedometer gauge gears, replaced engine coolant level sensor, new windshield wipers, new windshield wiper motor, new radio antenna, replaced several window switches, replaced window chrome around entire vehicle, replaced front and rear BMW emblems, the original 16" wheels have been repainted, replaced BMW logo center wheel caps.
