It was picked up at the Ford dealership in Oakdale, California. Almost 2 years later. The winner had to hire an attorney because Ford wanted to pay her $50,000 cash instead of the car. The money was refused several times. It was a tax problem for a Ford Motor Company and the dealership, but the winner prevailed and it was given to the owner who lived in Modesto, California at that time. It was delivered with all the bells and whistle's. They only made 31,368 Thunderbirds 2002 and a mere 7406 in the Thunderbird Blue color which to me is perfect for it. Very few of them have the matching color coded leather interior. This one does, as well as the optional color-coded hardtop and the rare option of traction control.
