2008 Honda Element EX 4WD in kiwi metallic (with the matching quarter panels that are standard on the EX trim level) with grey fast-dry cloth interior and easy-to-clean black urethane flooring throughout. Purchased certified pre-owned in 2012 from Honda Cars of Boston with +/- 72k miles at the time, and dealer-maintained since then with all service records available. There is no warranty or extended service plan in place. All new OEM tires as well as front and rear brakes and rotors were done in 2018 about 1,000 miles ago. The 4WD and the 166hp power off the 2.4liter i-VTEC four cylinder motor make this car a safe and capable option for situations as varied as long highway hauls, snow/ice conditions, camping as well as catering and restaurant/commercial use. The rear clamshell door gives amazing access to the interior, which is multi-functional with fold-up rear seats. The rear doors are forward opening and one of unique features of the vehicle, creating huge wide open areas on 3 sides of the car. The seller will include the Honda original tent accessory free of charge to the willing bidder, which literally attaches to the open rear doors and creates a massive tent space big enough to fit a family or 4 adults. Chances are if you are looking at this auction you are familiar with Elements and wonder, like I do, about why they stopped making this amazingly capable and versatile, yet efficient and not oversized (it is easily parked in tight spaces, and generally has great visibility due to the high stance and amount of glass) vehicle. This car is in very good condition both physically and mechanically and has no notable issues - it drives fine and functions normally for a car of its age and mileage.
