Nice survivor that needs a full restoration.The car is almost all original and is complete.It runs and drives, is a lot of fun to take to shows, but needs work.Has a GM internally regulated alternator installed, but stock OE alternator is with car.Numbers matching frame, body, and Engine.Has soft top and frame, hardtop (currently on car) and tonneau cover.Very little rust, car is very solid.Exhaust manifold is cracked, but a coated custom header goes with it.Carbs need to be redone, but it drives well enough to enjoy on the occasional drive.Horn, lights, signals, gauges all work.Was planning on restoring but am moving and want to concentrate on my new home. On Jul-17-18 at 09:46:43 PDT, seller added the following information: Edit: The engine is from a 1968 2000 Roadster, as is the hood. I can tell the hood is from an earlier model because the hood latch striker is centered and the late 1968-on roadster had an offset striker to accommodate the safety catch.Original Engine number was 07766, Installed engine number is 04473. (which corresponds to the 1968 model year, if the current practice of engines being 3 to 400 higher than the chassis number is observed.) In this car that holds true, chassis number is 7340, original engine number is 7766.I have significantly lowered the reserve price in light of this. It is still a very nice restorable period piece, I didn't notice the engine number was incorrect when I bought the car and since have just fixed stuff and enjoyed it. To answer questions from other bidders, if you are looking for a daily driver in this car, look elsewhere. The car is solid and can be driven, but I would not drive it daily. It (as I said from the beginning) needs a full restoration. The car hasn't been on the road since 1995 and needs a lot of going though to be considered roadworthy. The tires are old, the hood latch needs to be replaced with a pre 1968 latch and striker, or use hood pins. The chassis is very solid, and the shocks look very nice (period Konis). The fuel tank is clean, but seeps at the seam when the tank is full. As long as the tank is below 1/2 it isn't a problem. I have added additional pictures per request, but do not have access to a lift currently. I can arrange it but you will have to provide incentive for me to do so, I have this car priced very fairly. I have been more than honest. If I were trying to hide something, I would not have edited this listing. Good luck and happy bidding.
