Vehicle Detail
This is a Very Cool 50's hot rod 1947 Ford coupe. The flames are amazing, the cream color with matching wheels, just fit the car perfectly. There are a couple modern touches, but for the most part it looks like it jumped right out of the 50's. Taken in a black and white photo at a drive in, Bonneville, Autorama or something of the like it truly would be hard to tell when that picture was taken. Under the hood is a hot flathead v8, with dual carbs, Alum heads, headers, Mallory Ignition, just about every speed part you can imagine from back in the day. Runs like a top. Has the distinct rumble that only a hot flathead has. The interior is nice and clean. Right now it has bucket seats with the factory rear seat. If you wanted more of a fifties interior, it would be pretty simple to install the stock bench seat with some rolls and pleats. Most 1946 to 1948 Ford coupes just look off, this car has the perfect stance, the color and flame combination is just right, the wheels with factory hubcaps, the whole thing just works together very well. The car truly has a distinct look. It looks just as good as any 1936-1940 Deluxe that I have every seen. Most old cars you find the steering is loose, brakes need work, half the time the cars won't start, leaks quarts at a time, etc. This car is nothing like that. The brakes work amazing. Steering is great. This car starts like a swiss watch. You hit the button and it is running right now. No if's, and's, or but's. Transmission shifts nice, rearend works great, etc. Basically this car is in excellent shape. This car is a very dependable car. It would be a excellent candidate to go to cruise nights, it has a back seat and a large trunk for family trips, it is just a fun car to drive around in. You get thumbs up wherever you go. This car is a Bargain, my buddies think I should be asking $25,000 plus. That hot flathead motor cost almost $5,000 to build by itself. That flame job wasn't cheap either. This car is a steal. Don't miss this opportunity ! Any questions please call me 701-471-3376. I know many truckers, if you need help with transportation let me know. I will expect a $1,000 deposit within 24 hours of the auction ending. I will expect the balance within 48 hours of the auction ending. I will only accept cash when you pick it up or a bank wire transfer. I would like the car picked up within 30 days of the auction ending.
