Up for sale is a 1973 Camaro rs. I am the third owner of this beautiful car. I purchased this Camaro from an 81 year old gentleman in up state NY a few years ago. He purchased it from his friends estate after he passed from cancer. The car had been kept in a dry pole barn and used for Sunday rides. This car has a true 22300 miles as of this writing. I have the original paperwork from the dealership, including window sticker, original dealer key ring identification. service records.The car is an original radio delete car. The paint is the original factory (rare) Chamois. The Cowell hood is not original, but the original hood is included in this sale. The factory black vinyl roof is out standing with no rust bubbles, it looks as fresh now as it did in 1973. The interior is factory fresh as the dash has not lifted or been damaged by the sun. The car retains its original interior along with its optional GM floor mats. This car has the optional gauge package, the gauge bezel is as clear as the day it left the factory. Note: the clock does not work. The trunk retains its original store away spare tire, as you can see by the picture, its never been removed from the trunk. This car has been heavily under coated, you will not find any rust or rot. The doors do not sag, the windows do not have any scratches. Note: the windshield was replaced by the previous owner. He had a radio antenna unit installed for a future radio. What has been done:The 14'' rally wheels were replaced with GM 15X7 daisy spoke wheels , center caps/trim rings. F60/15'' raised white letter Goodyear poly-glass tires were installed. Two front calipers were installed, as it had the original factory units still in place. The gas tank was replaced with a new 1970 (Canadian) tank, along with a new 3/8 sending unit. New 3/8 fuel line was installed to replace the factory 5/8 unit. The small 10 bolt rear end was replaced with a GM 1970 Z/28 12 bolt unit with factory 4:10 gear ratio. The small rear sway bar was replaced with a 1970 Z28 unit. The rear leaf springs were replaced with new 5 leaf HD units. New shocks all the way around, The front small block springs were replaced with GM big block springs, along with a New ZZ 454. The small block radiator was replaced with a GM type 4 core unit, along with all new hoses. The motor has a stock GM type exhaust system along with the cross flow system with a Thrush up grade on the muffler. The three speed trans was upgraded to a fresh Muncie M21 unit along with a 1970 factory Z28/SS Hurst shifter (Comp Plus) The trans and shifter were rebuilt and are like new. The engine had a DUI distributor that puts out 50000 volts and is a self contained unit. DUI made it just for the GM 454/427/502 motors. The motor has a new 830 CFM Holley. The ZZ454 is rated at 469 HP 519 FT LBS TQ. All parts used on this upgrade are new with the exception of the M21, 12 bolt rear end, Hurst shifter. I have the original 307 V8 that came new with this car. I have ALL the parts for the motor including the air pump and exhaust manifolds.
