Vehicle Detail

Scout II - Almost all stock. Professionally refurbished transmission with 100 miles on it This is the ultimate deal for anyone looking for the complete Scout II collector's package. Everything on this rig is stock except the wheels and seats. The dash has been replaced, but I'll include the original dash in the deal. The transmission was just refurbished by a professional transmission house and is waranteed by them for 3 years. The body is clean all the way around except for some rust around the rear wheel wells. The removable hard-top also has some rust around the seal and some superficial rust on the back. There is no way to express how much I love this rig. I had dreams of fixing it up to show quality. Unfortunately I ran into some medical problems and need to sell this to pay for expenses. Awesome collector extras like the factory line-setting sheet, original manuals and sales brochures The original owner of this rig was an employee of International, so he got the original factory manifest and line-setting microfiche, it's included in the package. The rest of the original manuals and materials really rounds out this deal. Quick Stats Starts right away and drives well. Engine : Haven't done much with it but it appears just fine. It leaks oil a tiny bit. Transmission : Recently removed, refurbished, and replaced by a professional transmission shop. Shifts perfectly. Brakes : Rear master cylinder leaks, so the rear brakes aren't strong. Front are just fine. Rust : superficial rust on the removable hard-top, 3 of the wheel wells have rust and need attention. I removed and repacked the front and rear driveshaft U-Joints, however, I didn't replace the front driveshaft. It's sitting in the back of the rig at the moment. If it's a huge problem, I can re-install it before shipping.Electrical : There is a slow battery drain in the system, I think it's due to the radio.
