This 2007 Lotus Exige S was acquired by Bill Barett to compete in the Lotus Cup series, was purchased from VSA Motorsports in Los Angeles, California about 2 years ago and is now in the hands of Supreme Power in Fullerton, CA. The power comes from a supercharged transverse 1.8-liter DOHC inline-four mated to a 6-speed manual transaxle. The wheels are 16" cast units and include two sets of slick tires, along with one set of rain tires.These cup cars were built with light-weight 2-piece cross-drilled rotors, Pagid RS14 sports brake pads, and stainless steel braided lines. The ABS has been tuned and features a servo-assisted four channel system.The suspension is outfitted with Ohlins TXX adjustable shocks, two-way adjustable dampers, and an adjustable front anti-roll bar with five settings. Power is sent to rear wheels via a Lotus Sport LSD.The interior is fitted with a 6-point roll cage, cool suit system, SPA 4L electric fire system, and a Lexan windscreen. Additional safety equipment includes a mechanical ignition kill switch with cockpit and external activation, and a plumbed electrical fire extinguisher system. The digital odometer shows 4k miles.A Recaro driver's seat and standard Exige passenger's seat have been fitted along with 4-point harnesses.The Toyota supplied 1796cc DOHC inline-four features a roots-type M62 supercharger with the same pulley as the factory kit. Factory modifications include a Cup-spec airbox, a reflashed ECU, a PPE header, and an ACT clutch. This race-prepped Exige reportedly weighs 1800 pounds dry and was rated at 252 hp and 179 lb-ft of torque from the factory.
