NO RESERVE SALE! For your consideration is a 1 Owner hard to find 2002 Mercedes Benz SL500 Silver Arrow Edition with LOW 49k miles. Originally leased from W.I. Simonson Downtown LA Motors, the original owner bought out the lease 3 years later. Original cost of close to $89k when new, only 1,400 of these limited edition Silver Arrow’s were produced for the US market. They were only built for 2002, the final year of R129 production. Each of these limited production SL 500's were finished in Silver Arrow Ultra Metallic paint, had brushed aluminum instrument cluster with chrome bezels, aluminum trim on the wind deflector, shift gate, pedals, grille and trunk lid. In addition 2-piece six-spoke 18” alloy wheels with 245/45ZR18 and 275/35ZR18-inch tires front and rear; factory-drilled brake rotors front and rear; Xenon high-intensity gas discharge headlights and a six-disc CD changer in trunk. The interior of the Silver Arrow SL500’s included two-tone leather upholstery in silver and black for both seats and door panels and leather-trimmed steering wheel and shift knob. Hard to find with low miles, this example is a lifelong California car. It has a clean California title with a recent passing of California emissions inspection. Clean Carfax report history with no accidents. It comes with the factory hardtop, a stand and cover for the hardtop, both original keys and original owners manuals. Also included is the factory wind deflector housed in its compartment in the trunk. All electrics work as they should. Air Conditioning blows cold. Power seats/windows are all operational. Factory radio in working order with CD changer in trunk. Power soft top in working order with no rips or tears in the fabric. No check engine light or malfunctions. All lights are operational. Recent synthetic oil change was performed and a new hood pad was installed along with new rear brakes and a new battery. The factory 18” 2-Piece alloy wheels are wrapped with Michelin Pilot Sport tires all around. New tires up front date code 2017 and rear tires date coded 2014. Condition of this car is consistent with the age of the vehicle showing some minor chips and/or light scratches. Some of the wood veneer has chipped from center console which is common on these cars.
