1986 Ford Mustang GT Convertible 302 V8 5 speed transmission. California car brought to New Hampshire in May 2004, always garaged from September to May. Air Conditioning, Cruise, Power steering, windows, door locks, factory fog lights Car does have an aftermarket AM/FM/CD radio New clutch kit in Sept 2016, including new cable, resurfaced fly wheel and new rear main seal Runs and drives great, 130,000 original miles. Vehicle just passed NH safety inspection. Car still has the factory exhaust / mufflers. No Accidents, No rust ever, no filler, never seen snow, original unmolested car. Paint is presentable for a 30 year old car. I would give it a 7.5/10. The GT sticker on the hood is cracked and should be replaced when / if the car is ever painted. The convertible top was replaced in Aug 1996 and is showing signs of its age. The Drivers seat has a small hole (see pic) The dashboard is faded from the California sun (see pic) I have and will include in the sale, a NOS Ford GT Hood decal and also 2 NOS 5.0 fender emblems to the new owner of the car for when the car may get painted in the future. (I purchased them in 2004 thinking I would someday paint the car but never did) Drive it and have fun while it continues to appreciate in value. If you have questions please ask BEFORE placing an offer. Note: I was told that Carfax is reporting a possible mileage issue with the vehicle. The car has 130,600 miles on it. The car was sold in August 1996 in Petaluma CA and had 111,601 on it at that time. The odometer statement shows that the mileage exceeds mechanical limits (after 99,999 the odometer returns to 0). I purchased the car in May 2004 and the mileage was 115,805. The odometer read 15,805. I think the issue is that when the vehicle was smog tested in California (twice), once in 1998 the mileage was recorded as 13,250 instead of 113,250 and again when it was tested in 2000 and the mileage was recorded as 14,779 instead of 114,779. The title signed over to me reflects the mileage exceeds the mechanical limits.
