1979 Suziki PE250. Bike runs great, starts on the first or second kick. Plenty of power and 2-stroke power band. Bought it as a running bike then started the restoration: new tires, plastics, grips, handle bars, levers, carb, kill switch, intake boot, frame powder coated, etc... There isn't a bolt, nut, cable, screw or any part that hasn't been touched on this bike. The best thing is you can find parts for these bikes anywhere, dealers and internet.. The only parts that could be replaced are the rubber perch covers both on the front brake and the clutch (I have a new set to go with sale). The new seat has 2 small tears where my wife leaned it against my workbench. The trip-meter glass was cracked/not working so I left it off. The blue tape on the tank is my premix 34/1, I like to mix rich because sparks plugs are cheaper than pistons. I recently found and added the elusive "Combination Tool" and tank decals. Then the guy called and wanted to make payments. I gave him a one-time extension, anyway, excuse after excuse and here we are. I easily spent close to $3,000. on this project total including the original bike, parts, labor, paint, powder coating, labor. The buyer is going to get a great bike for around half the money. These bikes come up for sale very rarely and even rarer still in this condition.
