Up for grabs is a gorgeous condition clean title 2000 Acura Integra Type R in gleaming Phoenix Yellow. #961 of only 3823 cars built for USDM to be exact. **ORIGINAL MOTOR B18C5 AND TRANS w/ vin tag. It is sold with a Comptech Sport intake, Car has all matching numbers as stated with original VIN tag on long block (pic attached). Currently has 143k miles, clean title, all windows and locks work, ac nice and cold w/ heater, power antenna works perfectly, great stereo w/ cd (oem amber color CD player was skipping so replaced with oem Integra CD player but orig will be included), abs, dual airbags, new Dunlop DZ102's performance tires, and original suspension finally gave up so replaced with Ground Controls w/ Eibach springs. You may also notice this has the extremely rare and sought after Type R floor mats ($600) and trunk mat (1800) that will be included with the sale. Finally you'll notice a spare fender pictured above, the vehicle was in a minor scuff but the insurance company insisted on fixing with oem Honda parts instead of spending the time to work out the metal. This will be included as well as to answer any questions about why there is a minor incident on the Carfax and hopefully be put in the hands of someone skilled enough to restore it and place it back on the car that way all VIN tags match perfectly. Sadly the time has come to say goodbye to one of the best handling and well balanced cars I have ever had the pleasure of owning. Like my Dad who lusted after late 60's muscle cars, I'm sure one day I'll be kicking myself for letting go of what I know will soon be a prized collector car. I won't list every single feature as if you are taking the time to read this you already know what you're looking at. Essentially this is the ultimate version of an already ultimate version cranked out by Honda's best. This was the swan song for the DC2 Integra and final production purist Type R coming to the US for over a decade. For the few that don't know but always been a fan this car was not just another assembly line Integra. The engine was hand built and then hand polished to maximize hp from the factory, there was more strength and rigidity bracing than in most supercars of the time. Finally Honda knowing this was a car that was to dominate racing they took the bare chassis and seem welded the entire thing. Like I said, this is hands down the best handling car I've ever owned!I've attempted to take as detailed pics as I can to ensure all questions are answered prior to bidding. There may be a one or two minor imperfections I can't think of, but as you can see it is extremely well preserved. The only issue that comes to mind is after transport when the vehicle was delivered the auto detailer turned the wipers on and lightly scratched the windshield.
