The car was built by a well known (in the BMW world)gentleman in California back in the late 80's - early 90's and the car somehow made it's way to PA where we found it sitting in a storage unit for the past few years. The car comes with records, pictures, the magazines it was in and lots of odds and ends. Previous owner was having the car painted and never finished it. He also had the S52 installed and sadly, the orig. M20 is gone. Suspension is very firm and works well. We've DRIVEN IT ABOUT 100 MILES TOTAL.The car is NOT perfect, WE DID NOT BUILD THE CAR, we SAVED it from the storage unit its been hiding in since 2012. It needs a few things (besides painted) to be what it once was, here's a small list:The sunroof panel is not orig to the car and has rust on the inside. Car needs a headliner (just old and torn here and there)Carpet is sorta ugly Center console gauges are not hooked up, everything in cluster works fine. No muffler, but ready to be bolted up. Radio is for show only, not hooked up and no speakersHorn does not workNo windshield washer tankI'm sure there is a few other small things. PLEASE COME SEE THE CAR IN PERSON.
