This Highlander has NO known mechanical issues. An $1,100 set of Brand new high end GoodYear Assurance WeatherReady All-Season tires were installed last month. Newer brakes and rotors Front and rear installed about a year ago. Don't let the miles fool you, this car has been pampered and looks like new inside. It has never been in any accidents, Clean Carfax, well kept, only a few minor scratches in the exterior paint. Two small cracks in the front plastic bumper from hitting a bird but barely noticeable see pictures. No major stains and little wear inside especially considering the miles. Overall in like new cosmetic condition, never smoked in. We are the 3rd owner of this vehicle, purchased 2 years ago and it was previously a certified used Toyota, original owner leased it and both previous owners including myself have certainly pampered it and never smoked in. The car has never had any mechanical issues and has ran great. Just put new tires on it a month ago, not cheap tires but the best you can buy, however, with 3 younger kids in car seats and a newborn baby making 4 we really need something a little bigger. This has a 3rd row and would be fine if our kids were older but having car seats in the front makes it harder to get into 3rd row as the 2nd row can't fold and slide forward with car seats in it. Ideal for a family with 3 or less kids or with only one kid in a car seat. As far as buying a used vehicle at an affordable price it doesn't get better than this. You won't find a Limited 2011 or Newer Toyota Highlander Hybrid with this low mileage at this price that already has all the major mechanical maintenance done, new tires, good brakes, and rotors front and back, all the items that typically can run a bill up thousands of dollars. These Highlander Hybrids run for twice this mileage and more. Some people worry about Hybrid Batteries going bad and being expensive to replace. We have never had one issuew ith the batteries and have been told from a toyota dealership that they are built to last over 300k miles, and even if there are issues they only replace individual battery cells that are not expensive like some of the original hybrid batteries where you had to replace the entire battery pack.
