1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4X4 with the 4.0L 6 cylinder engine and an automatic transmission. 145,700 miles. Loaded with power windows, power locks, power mirrors, AM/FM/tape radio, roof racks, and a tilt steering wheel. The interior and exterior are in fair condition. It runs and drives well. The engine starts easily, idles smoothly, and has plenty of power. There are no misses, knocks, hesitations, or noises. There are no check engine lights or any other sort of warning lights on. The transmission shifts well through all gears. The four wheel drive engages easily and works well. It does 70 MPH down the highway. The tires are fair, the brakes are fair, and the emergency brake works. There are some flaws and some wear. The driver’s seat has a rip along the edge. The rear defroster and the rear windshield wiper do not work. The passenger side front window doesn’t go down. The headliner is sagging. The air conditioning doesn’t work (the compressor has been removed at some point). There is some surface rust starting around the edges of the body. The sub frame has a rot spot along the driver’s side rear in the usual place (pictured), but it is fixable. The passenger side floorboard is rotted (pictured). Massachusetts does not issue temporary plates; so if you are picking the vehicle up yourself, please arrange your own plates. We do not supply any plates. You are more than welcome to come see the vehicle in person prior to bidding. A $200 non-refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of the end of the auction. The remainder is due within 7 days of the auction end. The remainder is to be paid in cash, wire transfer, or certified bank check only, no exceptions. This is due to the high Pay-Pal fees on vehicle sales. The vehicle must be picked up within 7 days unless prior arrangements are made. If the vehicle is left here longer than the 7 days without other arrangements made, it will be subject to a $20 per day storage fee. The mileage may vary slightly due to the vehicle being test driven throughout the auction. We do not charge any documentation fees, so there are no added costs after the auction. We reserve the right to end an auction at anytime due to the vehicle being for sale locally. We will entertain reasonable offers to end the auction early.
