Up for sale is my c5 corvette, since I need to thin the heard and have way too many vehicles its time to turn some loose. I bought this off of ebay years ago with a little over 98k miles on it, now it barely has over 100k on it. Please note the mileage may vary slightly than whats listed, I do not know the EXACT mileage but whats listed is very close. I wont know until I charge the battery and find the key. First thing is first I require a 500.00 NON REFUNDABLE deposit at auctions close. Full payment required in 7 days, check must clear my bank before car leaves the premises. Cash preferred paypal accepted but buyer to add 3% I will start off with the negatives first.... Full disclosure on this car, I want you to be happy with your purchase. However I also expect for you to follow though with the transaction as all sales are final and as is with no warranty. Please no cry babies. I am reasonably sure the shift cable has broken, I was driving it a couple years back and bumped it into neutral accidentally while adjusting the stereo. When I pulled the shifter back down into drive, nothing. ZERO issues with the transmission ever, apparently this is a common issue with c5 corvettes. I had it towed home bought a new project house house and it has sit out front in the same spot for nearly 2 years. I am also pretty sure it will need a new computer, gradually more and more lights would pop up on the dash, traction control, check engine, speed limited etc. A new computer should correct this, also the ignition switch has pretty much gone out, all of this started around the same time. Interior would clean up nice, driver seat the stitching is coming lose on a seam. Carpet doesnt quite meet the console on the drivers side. Console and armrest sitting in place and need bolts put in them . I was checking to see if the cable snapped by the shifter this why they were taken out. I will include a complete ignition switch with key I bought to fix it. I am currently on the hunt for the original key as its around here somewhere. I put a new battery in it a few months ago and had it started 3 weeks ago, it will start and run for a few seconds and the antitheft/vats shuts it down. It had not ran in around 2 years but fired up instantly. it could also be the battery low as something pulls it down, if it is low it will also cause the car to shutdown. Obviously it will need to be tranported as it can not be driven in its current state. The car has sit in front of my house in the sun and needless to say the paint is showing it. Just for fun I put a little buffing compound on as rag and you can clearly see the paint will come back to life. It is certainly not without its flaws and I tired to point them all out in the pic, it does have several. However I am human and can and will miss things. It can be made to look presentable with some elbow grease. it was repainted years ago with single stage urethane in the stock color. Look at the pictures around the windshield not sure what they were doing there and its not pretty but it does not leak. Pics taken of affected area. I bought the car off of ebay and the seller shafted me on the title. It came with a salvage certificate that he never converted, the car was repaired before I bought it and I was out of luck. I went through the painstaking process of getting the correct paperwork and after months of waiting received a clear Tn title. The car has and will come with a clear Tennessee title in my name. Again full disclosure folks. I THINK I have all of the receipts for the parts used to repair the car. No evidence of it ever being damaged except for the hood needing a little adjustment. Car ran and drove very well and super straight. The good... No reserve it sell for what it brings! ls1 engine that runs well and not molested. upgraded c6 style wheels 19s in rear 18 in front, tires have some cracking and should be replaced. 6000k hid conversion aftermarket flip out 7 inch screen stereo. low miles barely over 100k. adult owned, never beat on or raced. stock exhaust and stock under the hood. To the best of my recollection everything worked on it but the ac would lose freon after you charge it. This would be a great way to get into the c5/ corvette game with a nice little project. Oh and btw the top comes off but you probably already knew that. Car is listed with no reserve and this is not a fire sale. Turns out I have more money than time and I have to be realistic and turn some cars lose.
