Vehicle Detail
Absolute 1 of 1 Time-capsule. Ordered new to H&H Cycle of Ohio, and the box has never been opened... until today. I made two careful cuts and folded cardboard back. This gem is not assembled and is wrapped in factory plastic. All proceeds go to www.cmrwv.orgSeveral gems have been donated for auction. Several questions have come to me about the story behind these donated bikes.Gerald Pacholke was a famous motor cross style racer in The 1960s and 1970s. His father owned a Triumph in Honda dealership from the 1950s through early 80s. The Pacholke family have been longtime supporters of Chestnut Mountain Ranch. We are a Christian children’s home in the mountains of West Virginia. Six motorcycles have been donated for auction. This is the first one listed. The family collected many historical motorcycles over the years. They have given us six bikes out of that collection. Chestnut Mountain Ranch is building and operating debt-free. We won’t build until we raise the funds. That being said the funds from this sale will help us build another home. *** I wanted to address some questions that of been coming to me. A number of you have asked about a charitable donation through the sale of the bike. I obtained counsel from our attorney and there does not seem to be a way to provide the purchaser with any type of charitable gift since you are obtaining goods. Also, there should be some paperwork inside the crate regarding certificate from the factory authenticating the “number”. I am assuming it is in the crate somewhere. I have not cut the plastic open and dug around. There are four additional bikes that we will be selling. I run and operate a children’s home and school so I will get to it as soon as I can. They are a 1966 Honda CA72, a 1966 Honda CB 450, a 1969 Honda CB 750 sandcast, a 76 Honda GW w 8 miles, and a 1969 triumph with 470 miles and matching side car.
