Body:all steel, filled rear fender wells, smoothed firewall, custom made rockers, door handles removed, 2” chopped original windshield rechromed. Chopped 33 commercial grill. 46-8 Chevy taillights, headlights mounted using vintage aluminum stands. electric trunk lift. Paint still shows amazing was top notch in its time. Pinstriping done by clineslines of Sacramento CA. Interior: was just redone in white/red real leather with white stitching. Custom made black carpet kit also in trunk compartment. Chrome column, superior wheel, old school style red seatbelts(hide under seat if not wanted). Old auto meter gauges all functioning including Speedo. Suspension: all chromed front end just completely rebuilt new perches/kingpins/bungs/etc. old school dropped axle, disc brake kit, original bones, chrome steering/drag link, new chrome Pete N Jakes shocks up front. Rear end is 1953 Olds 3:36 gears modified using Alston ladder bar and coil over kit Frame: original style professionally boxed smoothed and painted years ago, clear legible vin custom crossmembers and driveline loop, rear kick up. Engine: 1959 Oldsmobile 394 Big block. Last rebuilt in 5300 miles ago by Walmer speed shop early 2000’s orangevale Ca. Motor .030 over to make a 406 cu. in. Heads are 1960 Olds with hardened seats, hard to find old school finned valve covers, chromed 3x2 intake stromberg 97 carbs with polished risers. Remote oil filter, starter converted to right side of motor with vintage wilcap bell housing cover conversion. Electric fuel pump, both electric fan on temp switch and a flex fan keep this thing running cool and no overheating issues. Custom made chromed headers with recent made under car extensions(used to be out the sides). Old rebuilt VW bus steering box. Transmission just rebuilt. It’s a th350 with adapter kit and customized bell housing. Short old genie shifter. Wheels: rims are vintage U.S. mags that were polished inside and out to give it the show finish. 15x10 rear, 15x5 front. New Mickey Thompson tires just added $2k Additional: this car attended many shows through the late 90’s and early 2000’s. It still has the look of that era but using most of the vintage parts it came with from its 50’s build. With a wheel change and color change it can bring a whole new look. If not sold I will be doing so. Tons of money was invested building this hot rod and doing it right. It is very solid with no rattles. Fast as hell super reliable and professionally built. I reserve the right to end this auction at any time for I am selling the car locally as well. Always entertaining trades as well. Pre 1960 hot rods kustoms chopped sleds, model a’s ??? Thanks.
