This is a 1999 Mercedes CLK 320 Convertible!!!! These are great engines in these cars and one of Mercedes best ones ever made!!! This is a pretty nice car but I'm gonna list this is a nice "project car" and the reason for that is because it isn't a brand new car and needs some things. I will list the good things about car and then the things I've noticed it may still need. Goods:Car starts right upEngine sounds good, no ticking or knocking soundThe transmission shifts through the gears without slippingNo check engine lightThe interior is in good shapeThe temp controls all seem to workThe radio worksThe tires are in good shape.Has a new flex exhaust pipe installed Bads:The convertible top only goes halfway through the procedure and stops. I was told there is a way to calibrate the top and that may be the problem, but I'm not sure.The outside paint has little rust marks on mostly the edges of the car some being less than an inch wide and others being the size of a quarter. Very common on these cars.The rear wheel bearings are in need of replacement.The airbag light is on, was told a seat belt buckle These are things I've noticed and was told by people that know these cars. This is why I would describe it as a good project for someone that would like to have a good summer car.
