Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is my 1998 Chevrolet Blazer LT. It includes all the extras for 1998 – Leather, Heated Seats, Climate Control, Fold down Rear Seat, Cruise Control, 4.3L V6, Automatic Transmission, and 4 x 4! This has been my daily driver for the past 2 years. I’m selling this because my wife wants a bigger SUV to haul all our crap around. The Good: Body is pretty much RUST FREE!, No engine noises, No transmission issues, 4 x 4 works, tires are good, and just passed NY State Inspection Jan 2018! Sill gets 19MPG highway even with 168,000 miles on it. The Bad: The gas gauge doesn’t work – hasn’t for the 2+ years I’ve owned it. Just fill it up every 200 miles and you’ll never run out. The drivers side seat is ripped. The driver’s door sticks a little when opening from the inside. The radio only works when you’re close to a broadcasting station and then it only comes out of 1 or 2 speakers. (Antenna wire?) The hood latch cable is broken where it connects to the inside latch – you have to use a pair of pliers on the inside to open the hood. The driver’s side heated seat works when it wants to. A couple inside dash lights are blown so you can only see half the gauges when it’s dark outside. The check engine light came on a month ago right after I filled it up with gas. I put my code reader on it and it says it is fuel related. I've included a pic of the code - decipher it. Its the gas cap, the fuel tank pressure sensor, the charcoal canister, or the evap sensor. All in all it’s a good vehicle with a lot of life left in it. It’s not perfect and I don’t portray it to be. Check the fluids every now and then like you would with any 20 year old vehicle and it'll run forever. I have tried to include everything I know about the vehicle – did I miss something? Maybe. Send me an email – I’ll answer it to the best of my knowledge. Want to look at it in person? Send me an email – we can set something up on my schedule. There is no warranty – this vehicle is sold AS-IS is WHERE-IS. You are responsible for shipping. $250 non-refundable deposit via PayPal within 24 hrs of auction end. Balance due within 7 days of auction end. CASH is the only acceptable form of payment other than the deposit through PayPal. I will accept total payment through PayPal for an additional fee of 3%. (That’s what PayPal will charge me to get the money into my bank account) No Checks – No EXCEPTIONS! Check my feedback, Bid with Confidence! Please email any questions.
