1971 TRIUMPH TR6 W/OVERDRIVE AND WIRE WHEELS This car is Ruff & Ready and is the best way to describe this TR6! For sale is a 1971 Triumph TR6, special features are, starts, drives, shifts, and stops. Mileage is 65K, Engine # CC53946E, Transmission #CD26365, Paint #96, Trim #11, and born on date June 1971. Five good wire wheels, overdrive transmission # CD26365, good wood dash and all crash pad panels, all gauges work, brand new black inter door panels come with the car, convertible top frame is in good condition, just needs new top. Seats look pretty good, but need a little sewing. New clutch master and slave cylinder have been installed and the transmission shift very well. I have a good title for the new owner! At some time someone sprayed the inside of the trunk with a black paint over the red? Gas tank is in great condition and no rust inside of tank! Glass is all in good shape. Bad issues are, very rusty frame (trailing arms), both floor panels are shot and both floor boards, front fenders both have some issues also! Someone bolted a ¼” metal plate under the car, note pictures? This car runs and drives, but will need the frame looked at to be safe! The price reflects the extra cost to become a good driver or frame off restoration! Thanks,
