1930 Ford Model A pickup for sale. Runs good, does not smoke or made odd noises. Car sat idle for approx 6 years on jack stands, new tires and powder coated wheels never touched the ground during this time, are in good shape. Engine appears to have been rebuilt, runs very quiet and smooth, and the visible gaskets appear to be freshly applied. I got the car running for the owner in order to sell, and the test drive was very smooth. The brakes work OK, but took some effort applying them, perhaps they will work in better after some driving time. A new exhaust system was added 6 years ago, including an exhaust manifold and muffler. There is an oil leak coming from the rear main bearing area (as do Most Model A's, no oil seal was installed here by the factory), and I have installed a rear main janitor (oil catch basin) to keep the oil leak managed. This basin will require periodic draining from time to time. The vinyl interior upholstery appears to be freshly installed (6 years ago, not used since), and I changed the oil, antifreeze and installed a new distributor that was included in a box inside the cab when I took possession of the car. Failure to meet the 7 day deadline for full payment may result in seller cancelling the transaction and the buyer forfeiting the non-refundable deposit. Buyer must take possession of the car within 10 days of the final payment clearing seller's bank. If the car is not picked up by this time, seller will store the car at buyer's expense for $200 per month or any part of a month, any storage payment due must be paid in full prior to pick up of the car or transfer of the title.
