My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that... I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a very rare 1989 Ford Crown Victoria LX with just 88k original miles. The fact that this car still exists makes it rare, let alone that is only has 88k miles and you can fire it up and drive it anywhere. I would rate the exterior of this Crown Victoria to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The only bad thing I can say about the exterior is that the finish on the upward facing portions of the car is faded from age. Please check out each of the photos carefully as this will be clearly visible in several photos. What I feel is most important is that this car is all here. The finish shines nicely on the sides, just not the tops. The body is nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the trim is present and shows well. Even the factory landeau top is all intact and shows very well. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in decent rubber all around. Again, what I found most important about this Crown Vic is that it's all there. You can keep it original and drive it as it is or you could have the hood, roof and trunk repainted to make the car basically perfect. It's up to you. I chose to leave it original as this car is completely intact...right down to the factory mud flaps. I didn't see any rust on the body either. This is an exceptional example of a low mileage survivor. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how exceptionally clean and complete this Crown Victoria looks. I would rate the interior of this Crown Victoria to be in EXCELLENT CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door panels are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The carpets are thick and full looking throughout the interior. A full set of factory floor mats are included. The factory velour seats are plush, comfortable and show virtually no wear. There is a piece of tape over the switch to the LR window so I'm guessing that doesn't work. I didn't push the button. The other windows, the power locks, power mirrors and power seat all work properly. The interior is original, right down to the factory radio...which powers up and works properly. The climate control system also appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner will need charged or serviced as it DOES NOT blow cold air...which is hard to fault a nearly 30 year old car for. I could not get the glove box to open so I didn't force it, but I would imagine all the books and manuals are in there since this is one of the most complete examples I've ever seen. The trunk is spacious and clean, too. Pride in ownership shows throughout this Crown Victoria. Mechanically, this Crown Vic appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 5.0L V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. This car drives like a dream. She just floats down the road without a care. There have been no idiot lights on during my road test. The engine feels smooth and strong. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. Out on the highway, she feels nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. I'd drive this car anywhere without a second thought. If you're reading this, you probably know how hard these are to find anymore.
