This vintage 380SL is a nice driver quality car. Engine starts quickly, runs, drives and shifts great at all (reasonable) freeway speeds. It does have the classic gold trim package as delivered from the dealership! The black exterior paint was resprayed sometime in the past 5 to 10 years and still is very glossy and presentable... this mid range quality paint job was completed professionally and presents nicely with a few imperfections. Inspecting this vehicle, we can't find any rust or evidence of prior accidents... carpet in the interior and trunk are in good condition. The soft top mechanisms are in good shape, but the canvas will need to be replaced. The speedometer and odometer are metric (euro) - If you would like a replacement US instrument cluster I am happy to include it with your purchase. Other than one rip in the center of the drivers seat (see photos) the interior seat material looks good (probably could use a little leather conditioner). On a mechanical note; since this car was produced as a Euro model, it should have a double roller timing chain as delivered from the factory. Happy bidding!!!
