Vehicle Detail

More pictures here: https://hypnocoosh.imgur(dot com)/ Well here we go.... I've owned this car since 2004, it was originally from Texas and has a clean green title. It's a 2002 Z28 35th anniversary or more importantly it was the last year of the 4th gen f-body before GM took the Camaro out of production until March 2009. This vehicle has never been driven in the snow or salt and has always been garage kept and has a custom handmade cover. This car has been a passion of mine for a long time and it's been through a marriage, a kid, then a divorce, then another marriage (lol) but now I think it's time to let her go so I can move onto another project. Every single detail of this vehicle was obsessed over by myself as every dollar I put into her was a hard dollar earned or liquidated from other assets I decided to let go. I wanted nothing more than a car that not only felt amazing to drive but turned heads and got respect from my older mentors who built some pretty incredible machines themselves over the years and set the bar pretty high. Sure there are other 4th gen f-bodies out there, and sure there are faster drag-car f-bodies out there. But this car has the most excellent street manners, you can look but will never find one built quite like this. This Camaro sounds mean when you crank her over and she fires up and comes alive, and she always fires on the first crank. The steering is tight and the suspension keeps you planted right where you want to be. She corners with confidence and the rear-end hooks exactly like you would expect from a performance vehicle. There is little drone in the cabin as a result of the noise damping efforts (see below) I made, and the 3.90 gear in the rear-end will keep you in good rpm range\gearing for cruising and rolling runs. The distinctive V8 note at 2400 rpm is a beautiful thing. The transmission is a Tremec t56 rebuilt by Liberty gears in Allen park and let me tell you this trans is so tight it will blow your mind. Shifting in this car is the most amazing feeling, every gear is solid as a rock and for lack of better words makes you feel so "connected" to the car with every shift. I've driven manuals all my life and likely always will, but this car hands-down has best transmission I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. 90+% of the miles put on this car was when it was all 100% stock. Finally, I decided one day either I sell it or turn it into a vision of what I wanted, obviously I decided to keep her and transform her into my vision. So driving the car became less of the hobby as researching\upgrading\working on it. All the upgrades listed below are 3k miles or less upgrades, so all the work I've done is basically brand new within the last 3k miles on the odometer. The stereo sounds amazing but if you really want to experience it with the t-tops off flying down the e-way you'll likely want to have some ear plugs as that in itself it a pretty awesome experience every time. All of the custom lighting really changes the look of the car especially at night time, the car truly comes alive at night from both inside and outside the cabin. I went with a red LED theme in the interior with clear-blue gauge panel lighting. The suspension has adjustable gas shock\struts. I have it pretty well tuned (for me) but the option is always there is you want to change the ride stiffness with just a click of the dial. The rear-end has an LPW differential cover and this is a nice performance piece because the GM 7.5" rear-ends need some help when you start running some power through them and connecting that power to the ground. As for speaking to "old school muscle cars" - this car has ABS and that's it. It really feels like one of the last muscle cars to come off the production line as there is no traction control or advanced electronics it's all engine, transmission, read-end and most importantly the driver. That's one of the things about the car I always loved, it just feels very raw. There really is so much I could say about this car, so much in fact I'm not sure I remember everything I've done to her. If you're seriously interested send me an email and we get you out to take a look and see what you think. Hopefully with weather permitting we can get on the road and go for a test drive. Please don't be afraid to ask questions! In my opinion, which of course is bias, this is more than a car it has a persona of its own. I just never got around to getting it pulled at a body shop. The front head lamps will get slight condensation in it after washing the car if you blast it with the power-washer however it dries out pretty quick especially in the sun. The front bumper has some stone chips but nothing you wouldn't expect from a 16-year old GM or any other car for that matter.Revised (the vehicle check shows an accident but the report was for a pot hole that damaged the passenger tires and they were replaced) Not sure if there is a way to pull the actual report to verify for you, but this car was not in an accident. Also says 3 owners, this is not accurate either, I was the second owner and have had it since.I'm looking forward to seeing her off to a new owner.
