1962 Buick Skylark Convertible. Original numbers matching 215 CID aluminum block and 2 speed automatic transmission. Typical rust starting at the corners of the doors and windshield corners. Very repairable. Very nice rare car, rebuilt aluminum block by D&D Fabrications in Armada Michigan. Build sheet included. Mark is the most meticulous engine builder for this motor in the country. I added the aluminum radiator and dual automatic electric fans for cooling. Also removed the fuel tank, had it flushed and lined, then new sending unit installed. Silver ceramic coated the original exhaust manifolds and painted the engine bay to allow this jewel to shine. Sharp touch. Power steering, manual brakes all work as they should. Passenger window regulator needs replaced, along with the two wing windows that are cracked. All other glass and back window in the power convertible top are in great condition. Power top works well. Kept in a heated garage, under a cover all year. I drive it to the Woodward Cruise and cruise nights, or out for ice cream with the family. I do not know if mileage is original, but my engine builder does not think the odometer has turned after he looked at the inside of the motor. I do not take this for gospel and assume the car could have over 100k miles on it. Either way, it has been well cared for and in great condition for a driver. We get a ton of attention, especially when onlookers realize this has the numbers matching aluminum block motor. Amazing for it's time. I have the original steering wheel and radio. Both need rework before they can be re-installed. I have 2 other projects that I am anxious to get to, so this driver must go to the next enthusiast. Please feel free to ask questions.
