This is my 2004 Expedition 5.4L. I use this for Home Depot trips, and taking the kids' stuff back and forth to college. I no longer need it, and that is why I am selling it. The good: It is reliable, starts right up, has plenty of power (including a tow hitch), and has 3rd row seats which are power-controlled up/down. The radio has been replaced with a more modern touch control with DVD player and iPod input. I have installed a backup camera as well, and there is a switch installed on the dash to have the radio display that. The tires have a reasonable amount of life left. The not-so-good: There is some body rust (mostly on the ledge below the front passenger doors), the controls to send air/heat to the rear doesn't seem to work so I just use the main front controls and run the A/C or heat enough to keep all the passengers warm. This seems to be a common issue with this model vehicle. The steering wheel controls (radio/heat/etc) do not function. The auto AWD doesn't seem to work as designed. I have to manually choose 2WD, or 4WD. But once set, it seems fine. The tires don't have the pressure sensor in them, so the vehicle shows a pressure warning. Occasionally, a check-engine-light comes on involving the evaporator/gas cap. At the moment the light is off. We just used this vehicle to tow a uHaul a couple of hundred miles and back without any problem, and the brake lines were recently replaced. The vehicle is definitely "used" and shows it, and is not the cleanest inside. I strongly suggest coming to see it in person or take it for a test drive. I am in Pawling, NY. That's about it! I own 9 vehicles (lol) so I just no longer need this one. No reserve!
