Vehicle Detail
For sale is a 1978 Honda CB750 K model. It is in very nice original condition and was purchased in a package deal. With a SOHC engine, 8000 miles, and all parts accounted for, it's the most original SOHC I've seen in awhile around here that hasn't been chopped or cafe'd or other nonsense done to it. Here's the "bad" first: -While the exhausts are in good condition with only some light rust and pitting in places (no holes have been found and I have not thoroughly cleaned them), a small battery acid discoloration section on the left inner pipe, someone has gutted the baffles out. It's insanely loud. Otherwise the headers and mufflers are very nice and will clean up great. Might need to weld up some baffles to put in here. -Tires are of unknown age, they aren't too weather checked or brittle, I've ridden them around the block and they hold air but they'll need replaced. -Previous Owner has JB Welded one of the tabs on the side cover. It actually works just fine, but needs noted (shown in pictures) -There is a small tear in the seat (shown in photos) "Other info" -I got approximately 125psi across all 4 cylinders, one photo for reference -The bike does run and I was able to move it around the block -Had a few missing nuts and bolts so I replaced some and there may be a few minor missing hardware pieces -I have not cleaned the bike besides using some motorcycle spray cleaner to wipe off some dust. I haven't used any steel wool to shine up chrome or anything, I'll leave those things to the buyer. -Oil is very clean, no particles in it -I flushed and rebuilt the master cylinder and caliper as the front brake was stuck when I brought it home. -I have not checked the timing or valves -Bike isn't a show bike, there is plenty of scratches and spots, but overall the bike is in great original shape, no dents or major rusting, etc. -I'll add more pictures this weekend, the rear turn signals and handle bar mirrors are here, I just took them off for transport when I picked up the bike and that's what the first photo shows is right off the truck -Bike has a clean title -I have shipped motorcycles through uShip before. Buyer is responsible for payment of shipping and handling expenses and arrangement of shipper. I will help to the best of my ability. -In person pickup is fine and preferred -I will provide a bill of sale and the title upon purchase -$500 paypal is due immediately after completion of auction -I have 100% positive feedback and want to keep it that way. Please contact me with questions or requests for more pictures, I am happy to oblige. -Please allow reasonable time and accommodation after winning bid if you want this shipped. We'll speak on the phone after auction is over to discuss details. On Apr-17-18 at 13:55:06 PDT, seller added the following information: Tuesday 4/17 Added a few photos, brought it home from the shop. Side profiles and a view of the mufflers.
