The Accord LX has 81,000+ miles on it. It was originally owned by my daughter in Vermont--We bought it new there. I drove the car back to MD 2 years ago and managed to pass maryland inspection then--however now since I am trying to reinspect it and sell it --the mechanic will not pass it since he knew I was going sell it. So the car runs and starts great, transmission and engine function perfectly every start up,and no leaks but will not pass MD inspection due to undercarriage and frame rust and other inspection issues(exhaust system needs work,--will fix it shortly etc) -I did a good bit of rust abatement on the undercarriage and frame, but apparently not enough to correct the inspection problems. . So If you are from South Carolina or Florida where there is no vehicle inspection it would be a great car. Or part it out-- -When I had it inspected 2 years ago I spent around $2,000 getting it inspected. Unfortunately even if a relative is given a car, if the car is from out of state you have to get it inspected. In state transfers to relatives in MD do not require inspections. So, to pass inspection, I bought new brake rotors, pads and new calipers(not rebuilt), new rear struts, a new sway bar,headlights and ignition switch. Every thing operates like it should, the power windows, the am/fm radio, cruse control, lights, etc(the AC needs repaired). In January this year I took the car on the Amtrak auto train to Orlando Florida and drove it back to Maryland. Ran great, had no problems with it. So the purchase is as is as I can make no guarantee on it passing any state inspection/
