Vehicle Detail

Sunbeam Tiger was stored for many years in New England and then moved with owner to Florida. Tiger was put on a rotisserie and media blasted both inside and out. Epoxy Primer was applied. We purchased the Tiger 4 years ago and started a complete re-build. The fender flares were put back to stock using factory parts. The body/frame shows no sign of being in a wreck and the floor pans were perfect! Tiger was professionally finished and painted base/clear coat Mediterranean Blue (original color code 100). The trip odometer reading of 220 miles is the correct mileage after the rebuild of this Tiger 3 years ago. The odometer reading of 07513 miles cannot be authenticated to this car. Speedo does work. Original 260 engine (6526-B19KO) was rebuilt by boring the cylinders 30 over for new pistons. Polished crank and cam. Heads re-done with pinned studs, new valves and seats. New Edelbrock manifold and new Holley 600 CFM carb. New Pertronix Electronic Distributor. New headers (powder coated) and exhaust. Radiator re-cored with "dimple" fins (30% more cooling). Note reproduction Tiger valve covers (have originals) and AC air cleaner. The fiberglass hood is modeled after the LAT (Los Angeles Tiger) factory optional hood available to Tigers in 1966. Original top loader 4 speed HE 061201 rebuilt with new synchros and seals, and shifts fine. Mark 1A shifter re-chromed. New brake/gas lines. New brake booster and new rear brakes. Front calipers rebuilt with stainless pistons and new brake pads. Solid walnut wood dash! All gauges and electrics work great. Tachometer converted to read electronic distributor accurately. JVC CD AM/FM radio with 4 speaker surround sound. New Moto Lita steering wheel. Stainless steel bolts used throughout. New 14 inch VTO wheels with new Uniroyal TIGER PAWS. Gas tanks chemically flushed and sealed. New Robbins black top. New tan upholstery and carpet. All exterior chrome re-done including bumpers and overrides. New "Triplex" made in England windshield with no scratches or chips. There is no doubt that this is an original Tiger: Note spare tire location, battery trunk mounts, holes in firewall for spark plug/valve cover access, transmission tunnel modification, frame exhaust cut-out,, generator mod to inner fender, access for electric fuel pump, etc. I have another Tiger in restoration and need the garage space! You can enjoy this part of Carroll Shelby history by owning one of the 7,000 Tigers produced from 1964 through 1967. There were only 2,706 Mark 1A' s produced! You don't see many in this beautiful color! Please only bid if you have your funding and permission secured and are sincere about completing the winning bid. Deposits are non-refundable.On Apr-13-18 at 09:37:57 PDT, seller added the following information: transmission # is HE 16201 (typo), no numbers found on rear end
