1974 Porsche 914 1.8L with dual carbs and stainless steel manifolds into Borla exhaust. Has slant nose and flare rear end kits added. Purchased car from charity auction site in '09 (picture as bought included). Car ran and drove then and runs and drives now. Removed engine and cleaned, installed new plugs wires, points, condenser and coil. Bought electronic points but have not installed yet. Sent transmission to shop in Indianapolis and had full trans rebuild ($1200) done. Reinstalled engine and transmission and drove to test. Runs great. Snifter linkage needs adjusting as it has trouble going into 4th and 5th gear. Bought complete 70's compatible 911 front end complete and all the shocks, bushings etc. to rebuild and still needs to be installed (Pictures of it in the front and rear trunks). Also bought (4) 70's 5 lug 911 rims 10"x15' (installed rear with 4 to 5 lug spacer). Fronts not installed yet as need front end rebuilt and installed. Have all (5) original rims and tires, a spare roof, door panel, and a spoiler for rear end (see pic). Was going good on project as seen b y primer front end , but got busy and then have not had the time to finish. Now have gotten to where I can not physically do the work so well any more and want to get it to someone who wants a project. Car in in good mechanical and structural shape. Only rust is below gas pedal, left side "a" pillar and under battery tray where vent tube drained onto frame and body. Besides front end upgrade install, interior needs re-done as does rear shocks and probably axles.
