I bought this car 8 years ago and has been stored in a heated garage. Although this car runs and drives I consider it an excellent project opportunity. I believe it to be a number matching L-79 as the block casting number is 3791362. The engine identification code F06I0ZI and the last 7 digits of the VIN (N175956) are stamped in the engine block pad. The motor is backed by a 4 Speed Muncie Transmission and 12 Bolt GM Differential. The motor has been rebuilt. The original color is Marina Blue with Black Interior. All body panels appear to be original and solid with minimal rust. The biggest issue with the car is the floor as it has a lot of rust and in my opinion should be replaced for a correct restoration. The mileage shown on the odometer (59094) is shown as actual mileage on the Colorado title. The carburetor and the intake manifold that are now on the car are incorrect for the L-79. The correct number matching intake and the correct carburetor are included with the car. ( See the pictures) Please note the carburetor is not number matching. The front suspension appears to be all original I feel the floor is sound structurally and the car as is can be driven. I have put approximately 100 miles on the car with no problems.
