I have a 2012 Hyundai Elantra Limited for sale. It has 103,910 miles and is currently going up every day. It is my daily driver. The car was involved in an accident (by previous owner) and the curtain airbag and driver seat airbag deployed. A 3rd party auto-body repair made the repairs. The SRSCM (control module) has a hard code B1651 (Crash recorded driver side impact air bag) and according to Victorville Hyundai, it will cost $850 to repair. $500 for the unit. $350 for programming. However I've seen brand new module's on here for around $150. Also I've heard of those website's like Myairbag and such that will do do it for $50 if you send it in to them. Regardless, I am selling this car as-is without a smog certificate. It is currently registered and passed smog with flying colors last year when I made the title transfer. The curtain airbag and driver seat airbag were replaced when the body was repaired. However they did not replace the SRSCM (Airbag computer module). The driver seat airbag tore open the side stitching when the airbag deployed. It was stitched unprofessionally in order to keep the seat cover from falling off. Please ask me any questions before buying. Again, this vehicle will be sold as-is without a smog certificate.
