Up for sale is my 1979 Honda CBX1000. The bike is stunning to look at and even more stunning to ride. It is in great condition and runs and drives great. This is a very unique motorcycle in that it has a NOS seat, tail section, fuel tank and front fender. The bike is running on its original fuel tank (paint is a bit faded), and the NOS tank is still in its original box and it was only aken out for pictures on the bike. The bike has 19K miles and it is fitted with an aftermarket 6-2 exhaust system. The bike comes with a new Honda factory service manual and period Honda brochure and magazine reviews. Work done recently (performed at a specialized local shop): Full carburetor rebuilt, including bowl float needles. Tuned with Stage 1 jet kitChanged oil filter and relief valveReplaced stock spark units with Dyna Ignition system.Added Dyna coils, spark plug wires and spark plugs.Rebuilt complete brake system. Front and rear master cylinders as well all calipers.New battery and new tires I am very reluctant to sell the bike, but I have too many projects and I really don’t want to see the bike sit, as that would be the worst I could do to it.
