You are looking at one of Ford's rarest creations. The 1999 Ford Contour SVT. With only 2,760 ever produced in 1999, and only 861 produced in this color. There are not many of these cars left, especially with this low of miles and in this good of shape. This car is equipped with the Ford Special Vehicle Team 2.5 Liter V6 coupled with a 5-speed manual transmission, making it a fast, responsive, fun car to drive. This car was a mid-production model, rolling off of the assembly line as number 1,074 in 1999. All of the correct SVT trim and options are still on this car, it even has the factory Ford SVT floor mats, and all of the original SVT paperwork that came with the car from the dealership. The midnight blue leather interior is in great shape, with almost no signs of wear. The factory Frost Silver paint does show some wear, having a few scuffs and dings around the exterior of the car, most notably on the front bumper, and side skirts. With just over 88,000 original miles this car runs and drives down the road just as well as it did when it was new in 1999, the clutch and shifter feel nice and tight. The car is originally from California so there is no rust to be found on the car. This is a must have car for any Ford or SVT collector.
