2004 330XI with 6-speed Manual transmission, 196k miles. Car runs and drives well but does have some issues, largest of which is an oil leaking/burning problem. Goes through about half a quart+ per tank of gas, unsure on the leak-to-burn ratio. I replaced an oil line that was leaking earlier this year but that has not fixed everything, maybe needs an oil pan gasket as well. There is an intermittent "Service Engine Soon" light for code P0420 (see picture) which I believe is an O2 sensor fault related to the oil burning. Not sure if a new sensor would fix it. It has good compression on all cylinders so I believe it is a valve seal issue, has never been worth replacing to me given the age of the car.Other than that the car is in good shape for the age and mileage. AC does not work. Everything else works correctly as far as I know. Has SiriusXM radio installed with the factory head unit and I installed an AUX in jack for a phone/ipod. Starter and battery were replaced early this year, front axles are about 2 years old. I've also done some of the normal failure items on these cars including the water pump/thermostat, DISA valve, and the VANOS seals. It has Falken summer tires on right now, I also have a set of snow tires mounted on wheels that I'm selling separately. With the AWD and snow tires the car is great in the winter. Rhode Island Inspection is good through August.
